Similar to the Philadelphia variety, this coin was the result of a die first hubbed with a 1941 dated hub, with subsequent hubbings from a 1942 dated hub. Doubling is evident on the designer's initials and IN GOD WE TRUST. Doubling is evident also on the 1, 9 and 4 of the date, with the tail of the 4 doubled to the left.
